Hams Over IP VOIP Network (they style it Ham‘s Over IP VOIP Network) is out there.

Not much written about the background on the HoIP website and wiki (linked from the website).
More than a one person exercise? Not certain. Something different than Hamshack Hotline.
Much seems to be on the insufferable Discord platform rather than static webpage documenation.

HoIP login page a major pain (as I never did get to sign up to investigate further). A month ago I sent HoIP a ticket – hearing nothing back. HoIP has put the definition of ‘Amateur’ back on the books.
Just found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU2xum8lEp8
I’m NOT eager to join HoIP as HH has been a bore. In 2yrs of HH I’ve only had three (non-family HAMs) call me via HH.
HH has great audio quality but with HAMdom fading away why would I want to get into another VoIP-HoIP service with all the learning/programming/purchasing pains a new Service will require?
Getting HoIP information is too much a pain in the b*tt for me to expend energy upon. And the SAME issue prevails – if an EMP happens the Internet is dead like these services. A radio will be of real use when the web/cell go dark.
I do not have the time at the moment to dig into HoIP much less do a A/B comparison with Hamshack Hotline vs HoIP.
Though I have had some non-family Hamshack Hotline calls, I am not that often physically in the hamshack. I have used it to stream “Coast to Coast” though. Always a fun listen.
