Short Pause in Blog Postings

Call it a case of writer’s block, combined with other pressing tasks demanding attention to their finite timeframes, blog postings will need to spread out.

Posts will happen with more time between them.

Anticipating the regular frequency of posting will return shortly after St Patrick’s Day (after March 17th).

Hoping to finish up a couple draft posts to schedule them for at least one or two posts weekly in the meantime.

Brief Hiatus (May 2023)

Need to focus on a couple in person projects and even though I have nearly 50 posts drafted-up waiting on final edits, a hiatus seems prudent.

A couple of the projects will also result in posts, as one of the foul-weather stuck-inside projects is building the Turing Pi Raspberry Pi CM4 cluster computer, which I want to document well.

If weather allows I have endless outside work plus a strong desire to walk the Devil’s Trail hiking trail before all the bugs come out.

Hamvention (Xenia/Dayton) is coming up quick, though I’m sitting it out again this year. As it was shaping up for a solo drive and event for me, I’ve decided to attend “virtually” – like “greener?” Well maybe more that the solo 500 mile each way drive (which includes the 294 around Chicago) sounded too much like a chore than an adventure.

So expect sporadic postings, at best, for a couple weeks.

Hiatus extended

 

Pressing needs – besides needing my attention there is much driving.

You may catch me on the radio here and there, as running the station is a welcomed familiar counterpoint to a suddenly upset situation.

All non-essential projects are sidelined. If it doesn’t involve our household, work, church, personal fitness, or yet another emergency, everything is shelved for now.

For the few folks sending emails asking about QSL cards, QSLing won’t resume for some time. That includes the mail processing of the monster load of cards. I doubt I will look at any QSLing until well into the new year.

Slid right past that 2,000 Blog Post Milestone!

Yeah! Over 2000 posts at With Varying Frequency!

I didn’t even notice when I went past the milestone a few weeks ago.

Started in January 2007 and here 15 years later I’ve average a bit under 72 hours between posts.

Though I had made a few posts prior, the public face of this blog was launch January 2007:
