Node Red for your Remote Station

I’ve been watching closely the efforts of several FlexRadio Community member’s station automation via Node Red.

Node Red is a pretty slick programming setup that these folks are using to interface to their remote stations. It originated with the IBM’s Emerging Technology Services group and is now an independent open source project. The main Node Red website is https://nodered.org/

There is tons of stuff you can do with Node Red.

At the FlexRadio Community there is an extensive discussion at https://community.flexradio.com/flexradio/topics/remote-operating-and-node-red that is worth reading.

Presently I am too focused on my physical station build and with work matters to spend any serious time on Node Red, but it is high on my winter project list.

Let me know what you can accomplish with Node Red.
